~Option One~
Dragon's Blood

Welcome to your OWL year of Potions!

For Today’s lesson, we will be looking into the ever interesting Dragon’s Blood. Dragon’s Blood has twelve known uses, though we currently only know of three. The first of these uses is as an oven cleaner. Dragon Blood is potent enough to be able to clean off food, dirt, dust, and rust from an oven with ease! While this is not the first use someone would necessarily think of for blood, it is a valid use of Dragon’s Blood in the Wizarding World. The second known use is as a spot remover. Just like the last use, Dragon’s Blood appears to be capable of cleaning away stains, grime, and other unpleasant things from a variety of surfaces! Fascinating! The third, and final, fully known use for Dragon’s Blood is as a cure for verruca. Verruca are painful warts that appear on the soles of the feet. Dragon’s Blood is an interesting choice, but it is clearly effective! I wouldn’t be surprised to find out one or more of the other uses involve healing or clearing up something like acne. Now, there are nine other uses of Dragon’s Blood, but we don’t know any specifics. It can, however, be used in potions. It is not clear which potions use it, or what the blood does to the potion, but it is an ingredient that can be used, which is why we discuss it in this class. Now on to the assignment!
